Hawaii Counties

Hawaii has five counties, and each one runs its own slice of the Hawaii Police Blotter. Four county police departments handle adult arrest logs: the Honolulu Police Department on Oahu, the Hawaii Police Department on the Big Island, the Maui Police Department, and the Kauai Police Department. Kalawao County on Molokai does not have its own force; the Maui Police Department and state agencies cover the peninsula.
